What Code Platoon does

Code Platoon is a Chicago-based nonprofit coding school for veterans, active-duty service members and military spouses. It offers two main tracks. Fullstack Engineering teaches JavaScript, Python, React and Django and runs 15 weeks full-time or 28 weeks part-time, in person or remote. AI Cloud & DevOps Engineering is a 28-week, fully remote program covering tools such as AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes. Free introductory courses are available for people with no experience.

The program is VA-approved, so students can use GI Bill benefits, and it also takes part in the military's SkillBridge program. The organization says 67% of students receive scholarships.
